Description
In keeping with our dual federalist system, all states have an executive branch (the governor), a Judiciary branch (state Supreme Court and lower courts) and a legislative body. In California, the bicameral CA Legislature consists of a Senate (not to be confused with the Congressional Senate) and an Assembly.Your task is to complete the following exercise for the CA legislature in similar fashion to the Congressional assignment.
Please note:The areal divisions for the CA legislature are not the same as the US congressional district.Your CA Senator hails from one of 40 preset regions, and your Assemblyperson hails from one of 80 districts.You can easily find your senator and assemblyperson through the CA..gov website, or through Google.
